Core elements to the Casa de la Rosa Writer-In-Residence experience is growing your community and challenging yourself to improve and enhance your writing and speaking skills.  Engaging others and active learning are catalysts to your own creative processes.  Writing is both an inward and outward process.

We strive to build community within the Casa da la Rosa membership while acknowledging we are only one small spec in the Universe.  In Valley of the Sun, we are blessed to have access to many other social groups, literary events and learning opportunities.  We encourage you to explore new areas for yourself.  Each writers's experience is unique unto themselves and will not look like anyone else's.
